Live from Dallas, Texas the second round of The Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix went into full swing. Alistair Overeem fought a highly technical match of cat and mouse with Fabricio Werdum who was tentative to stand up with the K-1 World GP champion. Werdum held his own though, landing in our opinion the cleaner and more precise punches on Overeem. Overeem though forced the fight to be contested standing up and it ultimately fell in his favor as the judges sided with the “Demolition Man” via a unanimous decision. Full results located below.
