Werdum Comments On Cyborg Loss, Says He Will Tap Overeem’s Other Arm

Strikeforce started 2011 with a bang as this past Saturday’s Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg card was one of superb match making. The four fights on the main card provided finishes and plenty of back and forth action. As always, Strikeforce brings out the creme de la creme at their fights and this one was no different. UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez was spotted walking the arena and interacting with fans. Other American Kickboxing Academy notables such as Josh Koscheck and Jon Fitch were seen in attendance as well.

The Strikeforce Brazilian contingent was in full force as Renzo Gracie, Cristiane Cyborg, Wallid Ismail, and Fabricio Werdum were on deck, being mobbed by man and woman alike. Though it was a rough night for Cristiane Cyborg, Fabricio Werdum was his usual happy self and he caught up with Fight Hub TV to talk about his thoughts on the Nick Diaz vs. Cyborg Santos fight as well as his upcoming bout in the Strikeforce Heavyweight tournament with top dog, Alistair Overeem.

(In a funny side note, did you notice the cut on werdum’s nose? Apparently he tripped and fell leading to the gash! Just joking, his camp swore to us that this is what happened until, we asked Fabricio who responded with the biggest laugh!)
