Last Monday, StrikeForce sent a industry wide email announcing that former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett has singed a multi-fight deal with StrikeForce. Terms of the deal remain private as well as when we can expect Barnett in the StrikeForce cage. Our friendly neighborhood fight correspondent, Marcos, rushed over to CSW in Fullerton, CA just a few hours after the announcement to speak with Josh about the signing.
Though Barnett did not reveal much, stating that everything was confidential, he did chime in that the deal may not be exclusive to the US. Barnett did speak about his pro wrassling match on the 25th of September in Japan against non other than former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia.
It seems Barnett will be tight lipped about his StrikeForce contract, though we heard from a independent source that a lot of it has to do with purse terms.
