Unorthodox Industries put on another exciting MMA event last night, live form Hilo, Hawaii. In the main event it was MMA Hawaii voted fighter of the year Bryson Kamaka taking on Hilo’s own Alika Rincon. Kamaka took the win by a knock out in the second round.  Rincon almost pulled the win as half way through the second round he sunk in a triangle choke that looked tight but Kamaka kept his composure, picked Rincon up and slammed him in the center of the cage for the KO. When asked how he felt about his performance Kamaka replied, “Over all I felt good,” when asked what is next for him Kamaka stated that on Aug 5th he will be fighting for King of the Cage on HD Net.

In the co-main event it was Nate Quiniola taking on Ikaika Martin for the vacant 155lbs Unorthodox Industries title with Quiniola taking the win via referee stoppage due to strikes. Also featured were Keola Arakai taking on Keenan Conen for the bantamweight title in what was a fight of the night performance. Both fighters came out strong throwing heavy punches and kicks. Eventually the fight went to the ground where both fighters took turns getting the dominant position until Conen sunk in what looked to be a D’Arce choke to secure the victory.
