UFC officials announced today after a 13 year absence it will return to Brazil. The host city will be Rio de Janeiro, and the PPV will take place on August 27 at the HSBC Arena.
UFC president Dana White was quoted as saying “This is another historic day for the UFC.” The fight card for the event was not release but notables such as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Jose Aldo and Anderson Silva were all present at the press conference.
