The UFC announced today that fans will get the lucky chance to see their favorite UFC 117 fighters up close and personal as UFC 117’s fighter work outs will be open to fans and press alike.
The workout will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 4, from 1-3 p.m. PT (local time) at the UFC Gym at 1975 Diamond Blvd. in Concord, Calif. Fighters scheduled to be present will be Anderson Silva, Chael Sonnen, Thiago Alves, Jon Fitchm Roy Nelson and Junior Dos Santos.
Junior Dos Santos and Jon Fitch are slated to begin their light workouts at 1 p.m. PT, followed up by Chael Sonnen at 1:30 p.m. PT, Thiago Alves and Roy Nelson at 2 p.m. PT, and finally Anderson Silva at 2:30 p.m. PT.
UFC 117 will take place next Saturday, Aug. 7, at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.
