TUF 14 Finale: Bisping vs Miller Betting Preview

The TUF Finale goes down 9PM next Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Pearl. This is a perfect setting for one of Jason “Mayhem” Millers world famous entrances. In his last fight, at a Dream event in Japan, he came in lip singing to an electro rap song and wore a silver jump suit. He then proceeded to perform a choreographed dance with several Asian girls before heading to the ring. I believe that was the performance that scored him the World MMA Awards Most Memorable Ring Entrance for 2010.

Miller, TV/Radio persona and King of The cage announcer, is considered by some loud, obnoxious and an in your face kind of guy.  He is well known in the U.S. for his involvement in the Strikeforce: Nashville brawl and as being the host of the MTV reality show Bully Beatdown, among other things. He has fought in the UFC one time, the match was against Georges St-Pierre in 2005 at UFC 52, Miller went the distance and lost by unanimous decision. Mayhem also lost in the same way against Chael Sonnen in 2002.

Jason hasn’t fought in over a year. Although he won his last two fights in the first round his competition was mediocre. He had two big fights in 2009 which resulted in a loss to Jake Shields and a no contest with Ronaldo Souza, two fighters who were in the top ten ranking for their weight class at that time. Miller hasn’t beaten a ranked opponent in a very long time.

Michael Bisping on the other hand has been cleaning house and is on a 3 fight win streak. He also has recent and previous wins over ranked opponents and has been more consistent than Miller as he only has 3 losses on his MMA record. Those are reasons enough to put him as the betting favorite in the MMA Betting Odds:

JASON MILLER +170
MICHAEL BISPING -210

Bisping tends to stick to keeping the ground standing so Miller will most likely try to take him down to score a ground and pound or submission win. Miller is a BJJ Black Belt and has 14 wins via submission so he is a real threat on the floor or if he takes your back. Bisping has NEVER lost via submission but Millers style of BJJ will bring threats that Bisping has never faced before. Consider that when making your betting pick over at the BetDSI Sportsbook.
