TUF 13 – Team Lesnar vs Team Dos Santos
Dana White announced the next coaches for the hit Spike TV show, The Ultimate Fighter. And guess what…it’s exactly who I wanted to see! Brock Lesnar (5-2, 4-2 UFC) will take on Junior Dos Santos (12-1, 6-0 UFC) as coaches, starting this month. The 6-week shoot, along with another few months of broadcasting, will all come to a head in October, as the two giants of the division face off in a yet to be announced event.
We’ll get our first glimpse of the show on March 30th, when it premieres on Spike TV.
Junior Dos Santos has won seven straight bouts and was first up to face newly minted heavyweight kingpin Cain Velasquez, but an injury to the champ will sideline him for upwards of a year. In the meantime, JDS and the man Cain beat for the belt, Brock Lesnar, will go at it for for the right to be the next number 1 contender.
