Fight Hub TV Presents Fist-Ta-Cuff Radio Show 82: Drew Fickett, Antonio Mckee, Mark Pavelich, & Jay Hieron

Show 82 and we kick off the first hour and a half with some Northern
Exposure. Maximum Fighting Championship is not only Canada’s leading
promotion, but there is no one even close to taking that second spot.
We stacked the show with 3 guests with very different stories, but all
have history with Maximum Fighting Championship. We got on a man that
never fought for MFC and was banned for life from the owner, the
Lightweight Champion, the man who runs the show at MFC, and then we
end the show with some Bellator action and Jay Hieron.

Our first guest was told that he would never fight in MFC and this was
before he actually got a chance to step in the cage. Drew Fickett is
our first guest and we have plenty to talk to Drew about. Drew is
headed up north to make his MFC Debut against Antonio Mckee February
25, 2011 for the MFC Lightweight Championship. We will talk to Drew
about his amazing start to his career, fighting some of the best in
the sport, as well as what it means to finally be fighting for MFC and
getting a shot at one of the best at 155 lbs. and his title. We will
also talk to Drew about being able to have 50 plus fights and only
being 31. Drew has had a wild ride in this sport and we plan on having
him give us a few stories from the ride.

Directly after Drew we got the Champ. That’s right “The Champ is here,
The Champ is here!” Antonio Mckee is dropping in like a ninja, and
getting ready to defend his Lightweight Title against our first guest
Drew Fickett. Antonio is back up north after making his UFC debut, and
dropping a split decision to Jacob Volkmann. Antonio is ready to show
the world why he is one of the best in the world at Lightweight and a
win against Drew would only help to add to that legacy he has built.
This will be Antonio’s fourth title defense and he is looking to keep
things moving. We will talk to Antonio about his time away from the
MFC, how it feels to be back in familiar territory, and what training
has been like for this fight as opposed to his last one. If you have
ever heard an interview with Antonio you know he brings the fireworks.
When we have him on the show we just pour gasoline before lighting
those fireworks so tune in!

Drum Roll…. Welcoming back to the show is the man that makes the moves
for the MFC and the man that has built a promotion into a powerhouse.
Mark Pavelich is coming by to talk about his upcoming shows and what
2011 holds for Canada’s biggest promotion and the fighters who leave
it all inside the cage. Mark has got an amazing fight card coming up.
We will talk to him about the upcoming fight card as well as whom he
is going to be looking to match up. Mark is one vocal dude and just
like us he doesn’t pull punches. We will talk to Mark about the state
of MMA in Canada, who he thinks will be the fighter of the year, and
some of the things that the MFC has in store for the MMA world and
fans coming up.

Our last guest is a man that put the MMA world on its head before his
most recent break. Jay Hieron went on a 7 fight win streak before an
almost hour layoff. Hieron is a man with an interesting story. We will
talk to him about his entry into boxing, then how he combined his
previous wrestling skills with his love for boxing after he was
released from his college wrestling team. Hieron has made quite the
name for himself with a record of 19-4. Hieron recently signed with
Bellator, after beating Jesse Taylor and Joe Riggs and asking for a
title shot and not getting one with Strikeforce. Jay will be facing
Steve Carl March 05th in the Welterweight Quarter-Final Tournament. We
will talk to Jay about his training, what he has done in his time off,
training at Xtreme Couture, and much more.

Tune into the show at www.fighthubtv.com Sunday at 7:30 p.m. PST. This
show is one you won’t want to miss. Not only do we have on two of the
best from up north laying it on the line. One is trying to keep his
gold, while the other is looking to leave with it. Then we have on the
man who signed the fight, and wrapping it up with the man who’s a
heavy favorite to win the Bellator Welterweight Tournament. Lines                                                                                                                      open all show feel free to call in with any questions at 347-637-3023
