In a special year end UFC 125 breakdown, we sent our resident slave Marcos Villegas around the local So-cal area to get the pros predictions and breakdowns of this weekends UFC 125 main event between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. It seems the majority of the pros find challenger Gray Maynard as the overwhelming favorite, citing his previous victory over the champion as a major rally point.
They seem to like he aggressive wrestling style, and feel he will be able to keep Edgar on the ground. Look for Edgar to use angles at all possible as well as his in and out movement that helped him become UFC lightweight champion. We were to wrangle up fight predictions from Mike “Joker” Guymon, Mark Munoz, Yves Edwards, Antonio Mckee and rising Strikeforce welterweight Tryone Woodley.
