Phil Davis on UFC 132: Cruz vs. Faber “It is Going To The Champ”

Everyone has made their prediction for the upcoming fight this weekend, one that could be fight of the year. So which fight am I talking about? This Saturday at UFC 132 Urijah Faber will attempt to win his first UFC title as he takes on Dominick Cruz in a PPV that highlights the newly formed UFC bantamweight division.

Yeah you heard me right, I am calling this bout fight of the year and it is only June. Current UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz is looking to keep his belt and avenge his only loss to Urijah Faber. Faber beat Cruz in early 2007, during a time when Faber was relatively untouchable in the WEC. Now he looks to stake claim on his first UFC Title. This fight was timed perfect with the Fourth of July weekend as we will have fireworks!

Our fight correspondent Marcos Villegas caught up with UFC light heavyweight Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis to talk about the biggest fight at 135 lbs in UFC History. Phil gives us his prediction and you can believe he says the belt is going home with the champ. Phil breaks down his pick and talks about the first time these two met up. So the question is which side are you riding with? because you can’t be on both teams!
