On May 19th, Lamont Peterson and Amir Khan will go head to head once more, hoping to quell all doubts as to who truly is the junior welterweight champion of the world. As we all know Peterson came out with the split decision victory on that fateful night in December amid two point deductions being taken from Amir Khan which ultimately lead to his defeat. Khan immediately demanded a rematch, but Peterson took his time fielding offers from Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez until ultimately deciding on a second outing with Amir Khan.
