The fight to make Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito is inching towards reality. Top Rank bossman Bob Arum is planning a trip to Monterrey, Mexico. The city would be a potential site to host Manny Pacquiao’s Nov. 13 fight with Antonio Margarito. The trip is purely a expolratory one and is in no way, shape or form a concrete decision to stage the fight there.
Talks are still on going for another potential Pacquiao oppoenent in Miguel Cotto. Miguel Cotto recentlymoved up in weight class and captured a light middleweight title.
Arum also spoke out about the recent statements Team Mayweather let out on monday, denying how negotiations between the two camps never took place.
” It is alot easier dealing with Don King than with these guys. I feel like I am (like) in (an episode of) Twilight Zone. Don is normal compared to these guys,” said Arum.
