Pacquiao looks human in defeat of Mosley

Manny Pacquiao retained his throne as pound for pound king with in a what was at times a low action bout with a unanimous defeat of Shane Mosley via a twelve round unanimous decision.

Pacquiao the defending WBO welterweight champion looked human for the first time since his storied battle with Juan Manuel Marquez who may seem next in line to fight Pacquiao. Both men were cautious in the early going though Pacquiao broke thru with a knockdown in the early going.

It would keep Mosley on the defensive for the rest of the night with the former three division champion never mounting any offense. Mosley would get a lucky break from referee Kenny Bayless in round ten as the two fighters tangled up in the pocket. Replays would show mosley throwing a shot and a off balance Pacquiao would hit the canvas. It would be the only other round that Mosley would win as Pacquiao continued his aggresive stalking of Mosley.

Though for all he could Pacquiao was not able to finish Mosley as the champion cited leg cramps in a less than technical performance.
