In day 2 of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley media tour, both fighters allowed for fans to interact with them and ask questions. Though quite rare in boxing, those who follow mma have grown quite accustomed to this type of interaction with fighters. The event which took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, will continue on Monday in New York, finishing off in Washington D.C. As is the norm with these types of events, the fans asked some entertaining questions for both fighters. One woman gave her sample tape to the congressman, asking Pacquiao to let her audition to sing the Philippines national anthem on May 7. In a friendly gesture Pacquiao promised he would listen to the tape.
Tecate who partners up with many boxing promoters is known to have amazing models working these types of boxing events, and one fan even asked if one of the models was single. The subject of what motivates both fighters to want to knock each other out was posed, with Pacquiao answering, ” I’m just there to do my job, If the knockout happens, it happens.” Mosley have a far different answer, “Come on, Manny. You know you want to knock me out. It’s okay, I want to knock you out too.”
Pacquiao, who recently has let his hair grow out was asked a peculiar question by a fan, ” Do you like Justin Bieber? Because your hair looks like him?” Pacquiao smiled and answered “That’s a good question. I like it, but Bruce Lee is my idol.” Another fan asked if Mosley would ever have a hand at politics, “I’m not sure I have that kind of talent that Manny has,” said Mosley.
One fan asked the question just about everyone in the world has been wanting to flat our ask Manny Pacquiao and though he was booed for asking it, he should be given credit for asking a question so directly that many media members shy away from. ” Would you please, for everyone, just take the test?” said the fan.
Pacquiao, simply replied, “You have to believe that my boxing skill is natural. I am strong. I do not take medicine. I’m all-natural.”
