Pacquiao vs. Mosley Fight Week Video: Showtime Analyst Al Bernstein “Mosley Will Be Competitive”

The days are passing by and the clock is ticking away as Pacquiao vs. Mosley draws near. The two fighters made their arrivals on Tuesday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to much fan fare. Top Rank held a final press conference today and though it was more ceremonial than substance, both fighters had nothing bad to say about each other. Which makes us wonder, why the hell have a press conference? You already now that one fighter is going to say ‘I’m just here to do my job” and the other is going to say “I am going to surprise everyone.” All jokes aside, fans did get a chance to see a glimpse of their pugilistic icons with both Pacquiao and Mosley smiling for cameras.

In running with our coverage of this May 7th event we have been releasing exclusive interviews with people tied to the mega fight. On Monday, Freddie Roach was kind enough to give us a update on Pacquiao before he left to Las Vegas. Jimmy Lennon Jr., the ring announcer for the fight dropped in for a bit and spoke to the Fight Hub cameras. Today we saw  former NBA star Jalen Rose spoke to our fight correspondent Marcos Villegas about how big of a fight fan he is. So what is today’s special of the day?

Long time boxing analyst Al Bernstein, who will be doing play by play the night of May 7th stops in as he tells us about the possible story lines surrounding this fight. Will Pacquiao exchange with Mosley or will Mosley’s power come into play? Is Mosley simply just too old to hang in their with someone the like of Pacquiao?

One thing is for sure, Bernstein is confident Mosley will give a competitive showing, even more so than his performance with Floyd Mayweather Jr. this time last year. Check out what Bernstein had to say!
