Nonito Doniare, Ring Magazine’s #4 top P4P boxer in the world has a huge match up this December 4th at the Honda Center in Anaheim. He will be taking on Freddie Roach trained Volodymyr Sydorenko (22-2-2) in what can set up Donaire’s dream match up against Fernando Montiel. The winner could then be set up for a bantamweight super fight against the winner of Showtime’s Bantamweight Tournament.
When he is not displaying his trademark hand speed in the ring, “The Filipino Flash” enjoys watching other people beat the crap out of each other, in the ring and in the cage. Donaire, revealed to Fight Hub TV that he is a big fan of MMA and enjoys watching Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, GSP and more. “I like Anderson Silva, I think the same way and look at things like him and GSP is Awesome. Of course im a huge BJ Penn fan.” When asked if he would give MMA a try Donaire responded, ” I think I would try it, I’m a big fan of Fighting (sports) and It would be exciting!”
