Mixed martial arts fans may not be big time Soccer fans, but yesterday there was a hugely surprising result in the world of Soccer. World Cup champions Germany took on the Republic of Ireland yesterday in a UEFA Euro Cup qualifier, and the Irish side shocked the world by tying Germany with a late goal with just seconds remaining in the game.

MMA’s No. 1 Irishman Conor McGregor was absolutely stoked after the win, tweeting out several hilarious anecdotes after his hometown brethren pulled off an incredible draw. One such tweet included calling out German UFC fighter Dennis Siver:

Now Siver is the consummate professional, and has rarely been a trash talker at all during his 18-fight UFC career. It seems that McGregor got under Siver’s skin enough to warrant a hilarious response from the German Featherweight:

I think Siver wins the Twitter war, and considering McGregor is interested in fighting again prior to a title shot, could we see them settle the score inside the Octagon?
