Reports are coming in that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been arrested in Las Vegas. There have been reports that it may stem from a domestic violence claim made by the mother of his children, Josie Harris. According to police records Harris called the police at around 5 AM on 9/9 from her home in Las Vegas. When authorities arrived she told them Mayweather Jr spewed verbal threats to kill her and had attacked her.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Mayweather has been arrested but booked for grand larceny related to the domestic incident. According to the report, Mayweather allegedly took personal items from Harris’ house.
At current writing Mayweather has not been arrested for domestic violence charge. He was booked and held on $3,000 bail.

The Las Vegas Metro Police has recommended to the Clark County District Attorney that Floyd Mayweather Jr. should also be charged with domestic violence in addition to the charge of grand larceny.The LVMPD claims Mayweather turned himself in to authorities earlier this morning in connection with an alleged domestic incident with Josie Harris, the mother of his children. The district attorney will evaluate the evidence against Mayweather and choose to move forward with the domestic violence charge.
