Matthew Hatton retains belt; defeats Nuzhnenko

English man Matthew Hatton (40-4-2, 15 KOs) came in as the underdog but ultimately left the winner as he retained his belt against Yuriy Nuzhnenko (30-2-1, 14 KOs) by a unanimous twelve round decision at the Bolton Arena in Bolton, England. The scores were 117-110, 116-111, 116-111. Matthew Hatton now moves on improving his record to 40-4-2, 15 KOs, while Nuzhnenko drops a loss to his updating his record to 30-2-1. Matthew Hatton is the younger brother of extremely bloated and currently overweight former world champion Ricky Hatton.
