Little Brother of UFC lightweight Anthony Njokuani, Chidi Njokuani Looking To Make A Name For Himself

We recently caught up with the brother of UFC light weight Anthony Njokuani, Chidi Njokuani. At first glance you would confuse Chidi as a track athlete, supporting the same body frame as many of those competitors. At 6’4 and at weigh ins, coming in at welterweight, Chidi is extremely huge when compared to others in his division. “Yea it is a bit weird. The guys I fight are shorter than me and the guys I spar with are bigger than me but the same height. I like it, it allows me to sit back and pick my punches,” Njokuani tells us.

With a respectable record of 4-2, the younger Njokuani is looking to have a busy 2011. Though is hasn’t been in Njokuani’s favor as of late as he was scheduled to fight in early January and had three opponents pull out. It happened to Njokuani again early this month as opponents have been ducking him for the fairly obvious fact we stated earlier. The kid is huge for his weight! Njokuani takes it all in stride though, continuing with his training regardless and hoping to break onto the big show like his brother in early 2012. World meet Chidi “Chidi Bang Bang” Njokuani.
