Katsidis finishes Camp, Heads To Vegas

Michael Katsidis has finished his training camp in Thailand as is heading to Las Vegas for the final touches in preparation for his April 9th bout against Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero.

“The job is far from finished, we prepare right up until the fight, bouts such as this one, you need to peak at the right time, on the right day, at the right moment,” Said Katsidis trainer Brendon Smith.

The bout may be sanctioned as a interim unification title bout. The current champion, Juan Manuel Marquez may move up in weight to face Manny Pacquiao for a third time. If he does so, he will leave behind his WBA and WBO lightweight titles, leaving Both Katsidis and Guerrero to fend for the unified belts.
