It was reported earlier today that Joe Stevenson suffered a knee injury in preparation for his scheduled bout with heavy handed Tananori Gomi. Tyson Griffin will now step in and take on the former Pride champion at UFC on Versus 2.
The card has some recent controversy as low tickets sales forced the event to move from Salt Lake to San Diego. UFC on Versus 2 will take place Aug 1 at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, CA.
