According to Ernesto Castellanos, Mexican boxing legend Israel Vazquez (44-5, 32 KOs) will not retire and will be back in action in April. Vazquez has been back at work training though no opponent has been formally announced. Vazquez has made it clear that he is hoping a fifth bout can be made between he and fomer world champion Rafael Marquez (39-6, 35 KOs).
The 4 fight series is currently even, with Marquez besting Vazquez in three rounds back in May of 2010.
