Despite going 1-2 in the UFC Mike “Joker” Guymon (12-4-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has a opponent set up in DaMarques Johnson. Johnson, confirmed the fight via his website as the two are expected to face each other at a currently unannounced Jan. 22 UFC event.
Both Johnson and Guymon find themselves in a must win situation. For Guymon, this is his final fight in his four fight contract with the UFC and if he would like to continue his career with the Las Vegas based organization he must win this upcoming fight. Johnson is in the same boat, going 2-2 in his UFC career and attempting to bounce back from a TKO loss to Matt Riddle.
