Chael Sonnen taps Shogun and calls out Wanderlei Silva. Overeem knocked out by Brown, Faber wins a close one.

Holy ****. Chael Sonnen didn’t waste any time, taking down Shogun seconds into their main event fight, and after a usual Sonnen-smothering and grappling exchanges, Sonnen hopped on his butt and sunk in the deep guillotine to tap Shogun Rua.

My God.

Then he gets on the mic and calls out Wanderlei Silva. What a night, and we haven’t even talked about Overeem and Faber.

Travis Brown shocked the world (kinda) by knocking out a cocky, no blocking Alistair Overeem after absorbing about 30 unanswered shots from Overeem. What an insane fight. This proves why heavyweights are so popular, I mean, the fight could’ve ended 5 times, but Travis Browne rallies and lands a front kick to put Overeem on his ass. Incredible!

Look at this knockout in a .gif from Zprophet.

Urijah Faber overcame a dominant first round by Yuri Alcantara to pull off a perfectly Urijah Faber win, despite a possible broken jaw in the first round and really made a case for him to challenge for perhaps the interim interim bantamweight title with Renan Barao and Dominick Cruz still injured. Mike McDonald vs. Faber please!
