Where in the world is Yuriorkis Gamboa? Well he was not in Miami nor in Los Angeles as the press tour to announce his fight with former lightweight champion Brandon Rios. Our cameras were in Los Angeles today as Top Rank president Todd DuBoef assured fight fans that the April 14th bout between Brandon Rios and Yuriorkis Gamboa would in fact still go on. He even upped the ante as he announced the winner will get a $100,000 bonus come the night of. Rios for his part addressed the media once more and publicly stated that he believes Gamboa never wanted the bout and produced a picture of the Cuban gold medalist with the phrase “This coward never wanted to fight.”
