Juan Manuel Marquez gears up for a tilt with tough action fighter Mike Alvarado this weekend at the “super fabulous” Forum on Saturday, May 17th on HBO. Both Marquez and Alvarado are looking to bounce back from losses to Timothy Bradley and Ruslan Provodnikov in their respective bouts as the winner is being promised a shot at Manny Pacquiao’s WBO welterweight title.
In this video scrum with reporters, Marquez talks the task at hand and his reaction to comments from Alvarado that he will be the one to retire him. It also appears that Marquez has now changed his mind about a fifth fight with Manny Pacquiao saying to reporters that it is a option for him if he does get past Alvarado.
