Danny Garcia’s trainer/father is known for his loudmouth antics leading up to his son’s fights, but so far Danny has back up every word of his father’s en route to him becoming the junior welterweight unified champion.

If a fighter or his camp is going to talk trash it is a must that the fighter back it up and win the fight no matter who they are.

The difference in the case of Ruben Guerrero and his son, Robert Guerrero, is that after all the bad mouthing of Mayweather and his family his son failed to come through in the fight.

Mayweather soundly beat Guerrero and instead of talking trash he let his fist do the talking on his way to his 44th-straight win.

Comparisons have been shot back and forth between Ruben Guerrero and Angel Garcia though Garcia mentions in this interview that he keeps all trash talk in the build up this his sons fights about boxing. To him, if the talk is about boxing it is not that big of a deal,  though to many people anything you can do to throw a fighters psyche off is fair game.

Garcia talks tons of trash, but the trash talk doesn’t overshadow his son or the fight he is taking place in. The elder Guerrero did so several times when he tried to get into a fight of his own with Floyd Mayweather Sr. even when the fighters were in the ring the night of May 4th receiving instructions from the referee.

Mayweather’s camp may get an ear full from Garcia’s camp in the future as Danny’s star has been on the rise since beating Amir Khan by TKO last June and if he continues winning and moves up to the 147-pound welterweight division as expected, a Mayweather –Garcia brawl would almost be a no-brainer.
