Ken Yates. Part time interviewer and full time hustler. Our main man on the islands of Hawaii has been busy running around doing interviews with all the local fighters in the area. This past weekend we sent him to cover BJ Penn’s Just Scrap event. If you haven’t read his recap, check it here. He had a chance to interview two of the main event fighters from the card. One is rising mma star and Stanford wrestling stand out Dylan Rush. Rush took on Chad Thomas in a heavyweight scrap that resulted in Rush winning via brutal KO in the second round. Meanwhile veteran “Iron” Mike Aina grinded out a tough technical decision over Dominic Ahnee in what was the most technical fight of the night. Both Aina and Rush comment on their winning performances.
