1.) The Bantamweight title will be on the line and we will get to see Dominick “Dominator” Cruz go all out and get tested by Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson.
2.) The fight will be free to watch and it will be the first UFC event out of Washington D.C., it will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts and which celebrities will show up.
3.) We will get to see “short” and stocky Pat Barry take on tall and slender Stefan Struve in the only heavyweight match on the card. Both fighters are coming off losses and need wins to get their momentum going again.
4.) We will most likely get to see Anthony Johnson KO Charlie Brenneman. Johnson is coming off a unanimous decision win over Dan Hardy and needs to add another quick finish to his resume if he wants to be thrown into the top contender picture. Brenneman is coming off a unanimous decision win over Amilcar Alves and Rick Story respectively and he will also be looking for a solid finish so we’ll see fireworks shooting off on both sides which will make for an exciting fight to watch and a definite Fight of the Night or KO of the Night candidate.
5.) We get to see the UFC debut of some these fighters: Byron Bloodworth, Mike Easton, Walel Watson and Joseph Sandoval. You never know what to expect from the newbies so I am hoping we get to see something we haven’t seen before. Also, to the match makers pitted two Welterweight fighters who are making their return to the UFC: Josh Neer vs Keith Wisniewski. Will they choke or get choked?
