One of the hottest fighters in the UFC right now is undoubtedly Featherweight Dennis “The Menace” Bermudez. After losing The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale to Diego Brandao, Bermudez has reeled off seven straight victories heading into his consequential UFC 180 bout against Ricardo Lamas.
If Bermudez is able to defeat Lamas at UFC 180, it will be difficult for the UFC to deny his shot at the title after eight straight victories. With Conor McGregor, Cub Swanson, and Frankie Edgar all at the top of the Featherweight pecking order vying for that position, Bermudez needs another impressive victory to cement his No. 1 contender status.
