Victor Ortiz ” I Have Been Saying I Would KO Him Since I Was 9″

Last Week our cameras were present at the press conference to announce the welterweight title fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the current champion, the young Victor Ortiz in Los Angeles. It was a bit of a weird thing to take in as Floyd Mayweather Jr. was oddly respectful and subdued. No trash talking, no bragging about his cars or mansions. It was as if Mayweather was on a PR crusade to rebuild his image or maybe he just really respects Victor Ortiz.

In a bit of a role reversal, Victor Ortiz was the one being loud, aggressive and openly taunting Mayweather. It was a odd sight to see as Ortiz is usually quiet reserved and well mannered. Well, we had a chance to chat with Victor and asked him out of the gate as to why the change in moods and what caused him to really lash out at Mayweather Jr. He also shares with us that he has believed he would knockout Mayweather since he was nine years old.

Mayweather/Ortz will take place on September 17th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. NV. You can catch the bout on HBO PPV or on the big screens in selected movie theaters.
