Pepper Roach is a random guy.
The brother of Freddie Roach and former fighter, Pepper Roach has spent just about his entire adult life in the fight game. You can name any fighter at the top of your head and Pepper will tell you a hilarious story about them. We were recently at the Wild Card gym and ran into Pepper. What can we say about this guy, he always greats you with a smile and loves talking about boxing. You literally can be a homeless person and go up to pepper and end up having a conversation with the guy for a hour about the fights or random stuff. So yea, we kinda went on a tangent, but we were bsing with Pepper as he shared with us stories about James Toney and other hall of famers.
The topic of Manny Pacquiao came up and we started going through who we thought was the pac-mans toughest opponent (we both said Marquez) and Pepper stopped in mid story and shared us this wonderful story about how Freddie sent Pepper to the Philippines. It involves Pepper Roach, Buboy and a furry little dog.
