As a contractor, if I go into a job and critique another competitor’s work, nobody takes it serious because it’s common for someone in the same trade to pick apart the competition. However, if a car dealer walks in and says the work looks shoddy, people pay attention because outside eyes are offering an un-biased opinion.
Current WBA welterweight champion, Paulie Malignaggi caught up with Fight Hub TV cameras and gave his opinion of the co main event from UFC 148, and his thoughts on the judge’s decision. “I think Forrest won that fight, he got knocked down three times but that’s not boxing where it would be a 10-8…he was beating the hell out of Ortiz the rest of the fight.”
It’s nice to hear how boxer’s compliment MMA fighters on their efforts but at the same time throw a jab in for fun, “People say boxers got problems? You don’t see me running out after a fight and I would not come back in if I did!”
All joking aside, we know MMA & boxers will all get along one day and perhaps we could be blessed to watch Nick and Nate Diaz enact in brotherly love.
