Freddie Roach feels St-Pierre vs Hendricks will be similar to the Josh Koscheck fights

Johny Hendricks is the most dangerous fighter I personally think GSP has ever faced. I mean, it seems like something about Anderson Silva losing now has me convinced GSP is going to lose. I don’t really have any facts to back up my thoughts that Johny Hendricks will beat GSP, but it’s there. It lingers, like a fart, in the back of my brain.

GSP has fought some decent strikers in his time, maybe Condit and Diaz being the best, but I don’t think he’s fought anyone with the one punch knockout power of Johny Hendricks. Combine that with the fact that he’s arguably one of the best wrestlers GSP has ever fought, and, well it all adds up into an interesting scenario for one of Freddie Roache’s favorite pupils:

“Hendricks has a big left hand, he can knock you out with that left hand… I watched a lot of tape on him, I went to Montreal for ten days and trained Georges up there and we had a great time. We did everything from boxing to wrestling and every day we hit every sport. His boxing is getting a lot better.”
