Current superbantamweight champion Nonito Donaire chimed in on the announced bout between stablemate Brandon Rios and Yuriorkis Gamboa. Donaire expresses his desire to help Rios out and feels he can mimic the speed of Gamboa. The matchup between Brandon Rios and Yuriorkis Gamboa goes down on April 14th but fight fans has expressed their desire to see Doniare in the ring with the Cuban national. “I am not afraid to fight Gamboa, I think he is 100 times better than Guillermo Rigondeaux.”
A Donaire/Gamboa match is certainly one that has fight fans salivating, but a clash with Rigondeaux is just as intriguing, hopefully by year end Donaire fights either of the two.
