Dan Henderson “beating Rashad Evans or Jon Jones would be nice,” talks Anderson Silva rematch and 205 belt

MMA legend Dan Henderson recently had a chance to speak with Dustin De La Torre about a few interesting topics of note in Los Angeles a few weeks back that are pretty revealing. For one, it sounds like the former Strikeforce and Pride champion has no desire to rematch Anderson Silva or fight at middleweight, “I am not real keen on fighting at 185 but it is a possibility still,” said Henderson. When the topic of a rematch with Silva was brought up again in conversation whom Henderson loss to via rear naked choke at UFC 82, Henderson had this to say, “I fought him and I lost awhile back…if it happens, it happens. I am not in need of a rematch to redeem myself, I know what I am capable of doing and it would be nice to fight him when I am having a good day, rather than on a bad day.”

Henderson revealed that he prefers to fight at light heavyweight where he admits his main goal and desire would be to capture the only belt that has eluded him, a UFC title. See more of what Henderson has to say about Jon Jones and Rashad Evans below!
