In some quickie action straight from us here at Fight Hub TV, our cameras caught up with Bob Arum recently as we wanted to know what he thought of Golden Boy Promotions founder Oscar De La Hoya’s recent comments regarding having a single boxing promotion.
In the interview conducted a few weeks back, De La Hoya said he favors a system similar to the UFC where one single entity controls all the fighters and PPV dates. Oscar forgot to mention Strikeforce and Bellator, but the UFC does control and make the lions share of money in the sport of mma. For Arum’s part, he wasn’t buying it as he told Marcos our fight correspondent what he felt about Oscar’s comments.
