Trash talking has always been part of the fight game, from the verbal hymns of Muhammed Ali, to the hilarious words of Ricardo Mayorga, it has served as a way to garner hype for a fight. In Los Angeles a few weeks back Angel Garcia, the father of current WBC welterweight champion Danny Garcia took trash talking to a whole new level. Some may say Garcia crossed the line, insulting Khan and throwing race and religion into the mix. Things got heated at the press conference between both camps though it was Angel Garcia that started the provoking in terms of trash talk.
It served as a fire for one Amir Khan, who spoke to Marcos Villegas about the comments Garcia Sr. made and what he plans to do on July 14th in Las Vegas.
