This graphic breaking down Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones & Anderson Silva is pretty interesting to say the least

It wasn’t until I recently rewatched Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia that I realized Anderson has been asking for GSP for over three years now. Think about that. Anderson will probably end up fighting Jon Jones as well, for better or worse, but you have to hand it to him: he’s willing to fight. That’s why we all love Ando so much. Now, I’m not saying GSP or Bones don’t want a tough fight, they have both obviously taken on everyone the UFC has put in front of them, I’m just saying… Just saying…

This info-graphic breaking down the top three fighters in the world was placed on Reddit today, and I think it warrants a discussion. One most gaze in awe of Jon Jones’ 100% takedown defense rate. Sure, Anderson has the lowest rate but he never really seems uncomfortable on his back.

It’s interesting to see the fact that amidst tons of fan backlash of him “not trying to finish fights,”  GSP lands the second most strikes and attempts more subs than Bones and Anderson. Shockingly active for a guy who is “stalling” wouldn’t you say?

The opponent winning percentage also tells a surprising tale, with Anderson technically facing the “weakest” opponents, and GSP facing the best. I’m surprised that Jones lands such few strikes considering how much damage he can do on the ground, and I’m impressed at GSP’s defense, even though he comes out of every fight looking beat to hell. In fact, isn’t that funny? Anderson willingly take punches to the face for fun (sure he slips them, but still) and he looks untouched almost every fight. Bones it seems, has yet to have his chin tested.

I could go on and on and extrapolate on this data, but you guys should just take a look at it.
