Marcos Villegas woke up way too early today to find out just exactly what happened over the weekend to Jason “Mayhem” Miller. Now, after reading the knowledge the Sheriff has released, things seem even muddier. Full report below:

Dear Mr. Villegas:
This letter is in response to your above-referenced request, received by the Support Services Division on
Monday, August 12, 2013.
The Sheriff declines to disclose to you any of the records responsive to your request because all the
responsive records are exempt from public disclosure under the Public Records Act. The records
themselves all are law enforcement investigatory records that are categorically exempt from disclosure
pursuant to Government Code section 6254(f). Williams v. Superior Court, 5 Cal. 4th 337 (1993).
The information to which you are entitled is the following, as provided by Government Code section
6254(f)(2):
The time, substance and location of the complaint or requests for assistance: On Saturday, August 10,
2013, Sheriff’s personnel were advised by a caller that she was the victim of domestic violence that
occurred on Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Mission Viejo.
The time and nature of the response: On Saturday, August 10, 2013, at approximately 1300 hours
Sheriff’s personnel were advised by a caller that she was the victim of domestic violence that occurred on
Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Mission Viejo. Deputy C. Martin responded at approximately 1336 hours to
the alleged victim’s location.
The time, date and location of occurrence: Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Mission Viejo
The time and date of the report: Saturday, August 10, 2013 and follow up report dated Sunday, August
11, 2013
The name and age of the victim: Confidential per PC 293(a) and Gov’t Code 6254(f)

The factual circumstances surrounding the incident: On Saturday, August 10, 2013, at approximately
1300 hours Sheriff’s personnel were advised by a caller that she was the victim of domestic violence that
occurred on Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Mission Viejo. Deputy C. Martin responded at approximately
1336 hours to the alleged victim’s location. The alleged victim reported that at approximately 2100
hours on Saturday, August 3, 2013, she and Jason Nicholas Miller were involved in an argument

regarding a text message she found on Miller’s cellular phone. Deputies were unable to make contact
with Miller on August 10th to obtain his statement. On Sunday, August 11, 2013, at about 0530 hours,
deputies were dispatched to a residence in Mission Viejo reference at loud party. When they arrived,
they contacted Miller who was outside his residence yelling at his neighbors. Based on the report filed
by the alleged victim, Miller was arrested for CPC 273.5, domestic violence.

A general description of any injuries, property or weapons involved: Injuries to the alleged victim
include multiple bruises covering both arms and both legs, laceration and bleeding above right eyebrow
(approx. 1.5” wide), and laceration to the right side of face (approx. 1.5” wide). No property or weapons
involved.
