Fight Hub TV is on location in Las Vegas for UFC 126. We went ahead and sent our fight correspondent Dustin De LaTorre out in about to soak in all the action that is fight week. he caught up with UFC middleweight Alan Belcher as he gives us he UFC 126 predictions!
FHTV: Miguel Torres, how is he winning?
AB: If he is going to win he is going to finish early or by decision. I don’t know. I guess Ill pick decision to be safe.
FHTV: Jake Ellenberger vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha
AB: Ellenberger by decision
FHTV: John Jones vs. Ryan Bader
AB: Johnny “Bones” Jones decision. He is going to out point him.
FHTV: Rich Franklin vs. Forrest Griffin
AB: Rich Franklin. He is going to keep the punches straight and he fights smarter than Forrest. He is going to win by KO or TKO.
FHTV: Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort
AB: Vitor, I am going to go with Vitor. The fans want to see it. It is going to be cool. Vitor deserves it, go out on a big win like that and get that belt back. It’s cool, I am a fan of Vitor. I think something exciting like that needs to happen. Vitor with something early maybe 2nd or 3rd round TKO
FHTV: Do you see any possible way Vitor takes it in 5rds?
AB: That’s going to be hard; I think that’s not going to be in Vitor’s favor. That could be more in Anderson’s favor, if he (Anderson) plays it smart and slows the fight down, moves around and out boxes him and tries to get Vitor being tense and gets him to come in hard that will be in Anderson’s favor. Vitor looks good and in shape. We will see.
FHTV: How’s the eye? I heard your back?
AB: I am back! 100 percent I am back. Just talking to all the fans, letting them know I am back. Everybody’s excited. I am super excited to get a fight, I have been training and sparring, everything is good. Thank God, I thought this was all going to be over for a minute. I am going to be back and back on top. Hopefully I will be fighting by this summer.
FHTV: Maybe get back in with a win and possibly get a title shot?
AB: Possibly, there are a lot of dudes in the division. I would have to make a hell of a statement, but I will put in the time and do whatever it takes.
