Former welterweight champion Timothy Bradley will look to end 2014 on a winning note as he will face Diego Chaves at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Saturday, Dec. 13.

Bradley will be fighting for the first time since his unanimous decision loss to Manny Pacquiao in their rematch in April.

Looking strong and relaxed, often joking with those in attendance, Bradley seems ready to make a run at another title shot.

Bradley versus Chaves will headline the HBO televised card, which also features Andy Lee taking on Matt Korobov for the vacant WBO middleweight title and Mauricio Herrera defending his interim WBA junior welterweight title against the undefeated Jose Benavidez Jr.

Ditching his usual vegan diet ahead of his showdown with Chavez, Bradley looks as chiseled as ever.

In his loss against Pacquiao, Bradley fought uncharacteristically, as the usually defensive-minded fighter, was going for a knockout.

If Bradley goes back to his counter-punching ways, he should be able to take care of the gritty Chaves Saturday night.

Chaves is known to be a rough, and sometimes dirty, fighter and Bradley must not let that affect his gameplan. If Chaves can frustrate Bradley, as he did Brandon Rios in their foul-filled bout at The Cosmo in August, that gives Chaves that much more of a chance of pulling off the upset. That is if is not disqualified as he was against Rios.
