Amir Khan spoke about his $50k trunks and possibly facing Timothy Bradley in the future Thursday at the final press conference for his Dec. 13 bout with Devon Alexander.

Amir Khan , who faces Devon Alexander Saturday, Dec. 13, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, wants to fight the best and apparently look the best as well.

The British star will don a pair boxing trunks with 24 karat gold thread in them, that cost a whopping $50,000 to make.

Sure, it sounds like something Floyd Mayweather would do, but Khan has plans for the expensive shorts after the bout, as he plans to auction them off, with the proceeds going to charity.

A fighter that is headlining his own card Saturday night at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Timothy Bradley has been linked to Khan before, but the two have yet to face each other.

Khan said that Bradley declined to fight him on two separate occasions in the past, but would be interested in fighting him in the future.

Bradley spoke about how elated he was for his representative promotional company, Top Rank, to be working with rial Golden Boy promotions at the final presser for his bout against Diego Chaves.

The recently repaired bridge between Top Rank and Golden Boy is set to provide fight fans with big fights that weren’t able to be made in the last few years with the promotional “cold war” that hurt the sport.

A Khan-Bradley fight would be a big draw, especially if the two are victorious Saturday night in their respective bouts, but all that would be contingent on if Mayweather picks Khan’s ping pong ball as the next winner of the Mayweather Lottery next.
