Wladimir Klitschko successfully defended his IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight titles as he soundly defeated Samuel Peter in the tenth round via KO at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany.
As always the case, Klitschko used his enormous reach through out the fight peppering Peter’s right eye until it swell midway through the bout. Klitschko kept the pressure up as Peters had no answer and could not make adjustments until a Klitschko flurry in the tenth (1:22) put a stop to the bout.
In the under card, Johnathon Banks defended his NABF heavyweight title for a second straight time as he chalked up a twelve round unanimous decision over Saul Montana.
Gabor Veto won a unanimous six decision over Philipp Schuster, while Jr. middleweight Domonique Dolton scored a third round KO over Norbert Szekeres and in the card opener Ali Ahraoui scored a unanimous decision over Janos Varga.
