Rashad Evans is without a dancing partner for UFC Fight Night 61 on February 22nd in Porto Alegre, Brazil as Glover Teixeira injured his knee during training, and will be forced to withdraw from the main event bout.
MMAFighting was first to report the news, stating that UFC opted to move the Frank Mir vs Antonio Silva fight from UFC 184 to UFC Fight Night 61 following Teixeira’s injury.
As of now, there is no word whether or not the heavyweight bout will become the new main event, or whether a replacement opponent for Evans will be named for the Brazil event.
