Yeah we’re back for show 75 and with the WEC dissolving we had to grab the biggest stars and put them on one show, to say goodbye to the WEC. This is a show you wont want to miss as we have on a past champ, two guys counting down the days till they get their shot at the gold, and one guy who very well could be next in line!
Our first guest is the Ex-WEC Champ and looking to make his way back to the belt, Eddie Wineland. He is currently riding a three fight win streak with his last fight against Will Campuzano ending with Eddie walking out the building with KO of the night honors. Eddie is fighting on the last WEC Card against, Ken Stone in what could spell KO of the night honors yet again. We will talk to the previous Champ about having his opponent changed in his last 4 fights, becoming the champ and losing the belt, the merger and much more.
Bart Palaszewski is coming back for his second round with the barber shop. (We just had on Bart’s bad ass wife two weeks ago, so make sure to check that out.) Bart is coming of a 2nd round KO of Zachary Micklewright at WEC 50, which makes 4 in a row for the Bartimus (one of those being #1 Contender Anthony Pettis.) Bart is fighting Kamal Shalorus at the last WEC event. This fight was supposed to go down at WEC 52, but with a hand injury suffered by Kamal the fight was moved to the final WEC Card. We will talk to Bart about having Jens Pulver around, his upcoming fight and what it does mentally to a fighter to have his fight postponed, his BAD ASS wife, the new COD, and much more.
A four fight win streak is impressive, but what would you say about a guy coming in with a five fight win streak? Well you might say that SOB better be as tough as our next guest, Scott “Young Guns” Jorgensen. That’s right we have the #1 Contender for Dominick Cruz’s belt and I’m confident saying this will be the toughest fight of the Champ’s Career. Scott is coming to us live from Blue and Orange country, Boise, ID. It aint just famous for the Bronco’s as Boise’s main man, will be fighting the champ for a chance to bring back the belt to Boise. Scott is coming into this fight with a record of 11-3 and more momentum then most guys getting a title shot. We will talk to Scott about his camp, training partners, the crazy times he has in Boise, and much more!
Last but not least is a man coming back for his second go around with the shop as well. IT’S SHOWTIME, yeah that’s right Anthony “Showtime” Pettis is dropping by right before his title shot against Ben Henderson and the chance to take on the winner of Gray Maynard vs. Frankie Edgar. Anthony’s record is damn near unblemished, with the exception of Bart Palaszewski. Showtime is looking to make his record 13-1 with the title around his waist. Anthony trains out of and is a member of Roufusport, Milwaukee, WI. We will talk to Anthony about his training, what it means to finally get a title shot if that shot is even more special as he could be the last WEC Champ ever and fighting for the UFC! Make sure you tune in cause, Anthony is always a great interview!
The show starts at 2pm PST, you can tune in directly at www.fisttacuff.com or www.fighthubtv.com and make sure to get over to FIGHT HUB TV to check out all the interviews Marcos Villegas has been putting work in on.
