Shane Mosley talks match up with Saul Alvarez “I know for a fact I am not washed up”

Since the announcement of his bout with Saul Alvarez on May 5th, fans and critics alike have been vocal about how they believe “Sugar” Shane Mosley is a former shell of the fighter he once was. To them this soon to be hall of famer has seen better days as they will point out that he has only won a single fight in the past three years. Add in the lack luster performances he put on against the likes of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao and valid points can be made.

Mosley though is not buying it and despite what everyone else says he signed on to fight Alvarez because he believes in his heart he still has what it takes to beat the young lion. Making his Fight Hub TV debut, fight correspondent Erik Fontanez chats up with Mosley about fans and critics addressing him as a “washed up,” fighter. Mosley also talks about why he signed on to fight Alvarez and how boxing has provided him with serenity from the stresses of the outside world.
