The founder of Golden Boy Promotions, Mr. Oscar De La Hoya made his first public appearance in months as on Tuesday he was in attendance at Canelo Alvarez’s media workout in San Diego, CA. He looked in great spirits as “The Golden Boy” remarked that he was feeling healthy as he was mobbed by fans in attendance as if he were the one holding the workout.Though when Canelo suited up and put on the gloves, all eyes were on him including De La Hoya’s.
Many fans are expecting a barn burner of a fight as the style of Canelo and Angulo mesh well. De La Hoya shares the same sentiment as he spoke to me about what he expects come March 8th on Showtime PPV.
